If you can’t remember the last time you replaced the toothbrush head on your electronic toothbrush then it's probably time to replace it. We agree with the American Dental Association in that it is recommended to replace the toothbrush head approximately every three to four months, or sooner if the bristles of the brush are fraying in different directions. Once the bristles show signs of wear the effectiveness of the electronic toothbrush is reduced and thus more plaque is left behind.
